Abstract: With the implementation of ultra-low emission standards in the cement industry, the application of limestone-gypsum wet desulfurization technology has become increasingly widespread. However, as the wet desulfurization system operates over time, problems such as declining desulfurization efficiency and difficulty in dewatering gypsum have gradually emerged. Based on the actual operation of a cement plant's limestone-gypsum wet desulfurization system, this paper analyzes the main reasons for the reduction of desulfurization efficiency, including improper control of pH value and density of absorption tower slurry, low liquid level in absorption tower, and blocked oxidation air pipes. By taking refined treatment measures such as accurately controlling the pH value of the absorption tower slurry to 5.2~5.8, reasonably controlling the slurry density to about 1 080kg/m3, strengthening the maintenance and verification of liquid level gauges, regularly cleaning the oxidation air pipes, and standardizing the operation of the oxidation fan, these measures effectively guarantee the stable and efficient operation of the desulfurization system.
