Abstract: The sulfur in the cement kiln system mainly comes from raw coal fuel and raw materials such as limestone and iron. By summarizing production experience data, a theoretical empirical formula for sulfur emission before desulfurization equipment has been formed. Based on the theoretical calculation results, sulfur emission control measures have been taken in advance, and ingredient plans have been adjusted to control the total amount of sulfur entering the kiln. At the same time, the influence of pyrite content in raw materials on sulfur emissions was explored using XRD detection instruments. Qualitative and quantitative analysis results showed that when the total sulfur content in raw materials was the same, the lower the pyrite content, the lower the sulfur emission concentration at the preheater, and the two were positively correlated.
